InViolet’s Spooky Bio Spotlight: Aubyn Philabaum

Aubyn can be seen currently as Victor Newman’s Secretary on the day-time drama, “The Young and the Restless”. Theatre: InViolet Rep, Yale Rep, ACT, Cry Havoc, Singularity, Naked Angels, Hud

son Stage, and the Lark Theatre. TV/Film: “Criminal Minds”, “Parks and Recreation”, “Thursday’s Speaker”, “The Tempest”, “Reading in Bed”. Training: BFA in Acting, Boston University and LAMDA, MFA in Acting, The Yale School of Drama. Aubyn’s first InViolet Rep production was company member Melanie Maras’ “Kiss Me On The Mouth”, directed by Stephen Adly Guirgis, for which she won the “Freshest Face in NY Theater” Award (Patrick Lee). She later moved to Los Angeles, where she has been working in television.

What InVi means to Aubyn:

Aubyn recently returned to NY to perform in company member Megan Hart’s “This is Fiction”, co-starring Richard Masur. She is so grateful to be a member of this talented, generous, supportive and fierce group of theatre artists.

A Maggie Flanigan Studios graduate, Shetal Shah is an actress and socio-realist filmmaker who has worked on climate change issues with the Bolivian Embassy and Nord Sud XXI. She also performs po

etry, most notably at Lincoln Center and with Poetic People Power. The best way to win her over is with Mexican food. Favorite theatre credits: Truth Be Told (Ensemble Studio Theatre), Caitlin and the Swan (The Management), The Living Room Series (HERE Theater), The Comedy of Errors (Capital Classics Theatre). As we continue to get closer to our Halloween Fundraising Goal ($30,000 by October 31), we thought you might like a (re) introduction to the theater artists that your donation helps.

First up, Andrew Quality Blair. The name says it all.

Andrew Blair is from Charlotte, NC, Andrew and received his BFA in acting from East Carolina Univ. before moving to NYC and eventually finding an artistic home with InViolet Repertory Theater Company in 2011. Success th

at has directly stemmed from two appearances on stage (The Oddyasee & Treasure Island, FL) with InViolet have been commercial representation and roles in 5 other theatrical productions. More than career milestones, InViolet has been a source of strength and vitality for pursuing his dream of being a full-time actor.
